Soul Collage - 3rd Wednesdays of the Month
In this monthly online group, we explore meaningful topics through a collaging process known as Soulcollage®. Past topics have included forgiveness, generosity, wisdom, compassion, courage and peace. Our goal is to increase self-awareness, transform limiting patterns, and grow in strength, compassion and resilience.
Cancer Prayer Support Group - 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the Month
We are a spiritual prayer support group that embraces, honors, and accompanies all touched by cancer. You are welcome, whatever cancer journey you are on––past or present––as patient, loved-one, or caregiver. This is a safe place to share and be held, whatever you are going through. We check in and listen respectfully. We hold one another in trust, hope, and love. We honor confidentiality.
East-West Meditation - Every Wednesday Evening
At Mercy Center Auburn, our East-West meditation paradigm invites you to taste Christian scriptures, the writings of Christian mystics, Buddhist scriptures, the teachings of ancient and contemporary Zen masters, as well as teachings from other spiritual traditions, with the aim of uncovering the veils of worldly conditioning that obscure our clear vision of what truly is and who we truly are.
Prayer Around the Cross in the Style of Taizé - 1st Fridays of the Month
Taizé prayer is a contemplative Christian prayer style characterized by simple, repetitive chants, candlelight, extended periods of silence, and readings to foster meditation and a sense of unity among people from different Christian traditions. Named after the ecumenical Taizé Community in France, it emphasizes peace, reconciliation, and a meditative experience where the mind calms and the heart opens to God.

Finally we will be studying four important woman of the last century: Hannah Arendt, Simone de Beauvoir, Ayn Rand and Simone Weil.
Centering Prayer - Wednesday Mornings at 9:30am & Thursday Evenings at 6:30pm
Centering Prayer is a gentle, silent method of consenting to God’s presence and healing action within us. Based on rich Christian contemplative heritage, Centering Prayer offers us a way to be open to God. By taking time to “rest in God” each day, we open our awareness to the gift of God’s presence.
Upcoming
Beguiled by Beauty
During our time together, we will explore beauty as a threshold to the divine and to the deepening of compassion and joy. Beauty allows us to behold the sacred worth of all beings in nature, the arts, and the faces of others. Cultivating the practice of beauty opens us to a deeply joyful way of embracing the loveliness and sorrows of life. We will have time for discussion, small group conversations, meditation, quiet, and creativity – and for savoring the beauty of a life of faith.
Praying Your Life
God speaks to us in diverse ways, revealing the depths of love to us. This weekend of prayer and reflection focuses upon the revelation of God coming to us through the fabric of our own lives. Just as seekers listen to God through Lectio Divina, seekers can also explore the shape of God’s desire through reflecting upon the events, experiences and relationships which have shaped and are shaping their lives in the present.
