Spiritual Accompaniment Internship Program
NOTE: Applications for 2022-2023 have been closed.
This program is the first-of-its-kind in our area. This is a two-year program which will be offered in English for English-as-a-second-language participants to be trained as spiritual companions. Following the first 2-year cycle, our goal is to offer a second 2-year program to train qualified candidates to teach a spiritual accompaniment program in Spanish.
This program is co-sponsored by Mercy Center Burlingame Institute for Spiritual Direction and Marist Brother, Don Bisson, who has been training non-English speaking communities across the United States.
