This course has three prongs: movement, breathwork, and written expression. Qigong movements and breathwork often mirror elements of nature as we wave hands like clouds or calm the waters.
As a primary source for the Gospels of Matthew and Luke, Mark’s Gospel provides us with deep insights into the nature of the Gospel as both content and proclamation.
Our theme for 2023 is Opening the Heart. We’ll explore many aspects of compassion, including compassion for ourselves, others and creation. Themes will include hospitality, forgiveness, healing, courage, hope, wisdom, acceptance, resilience, imperfection and grace.
Come rest in the stillness of prayer with other contemplative companions, away from the busyness of daily life, and allow the mind, body, and spirit to surrender to God’s presence and action within.
